How do artists think as they observe the world and cultivate their imagination? Hyundai Museum of Kids' Books & Art (MOKA)'s exhibition, “Thought Vault,” originates from the “Studio-thinking” methodology that explores an artist's ‘Habits of Mind.’ The exhibition halls transform into six themed ‘Thought Laboratories’ based on studio habits: Observe, Stretch and Explore, Engage and Persist. Visitors pass through each laboratory, experiencing the creative process of thinking like an artist and expressing their ideas in their own unique way. We hope this exhibition—where you explore your own thoughts, imagine freely, express yourself with diverse materials, and collectively fill the ‘Vault’ (meaning ‘a place to treasure and keep precious things’)—becomes a joyful and meaningful time to expand your artistic thinking and imagination.
